Our Story
Adjusting to life with a new baby is a lot, and as parents we just about have time to feed ourselves. Throw into the mix now having to learn how to feed a baby can seem like a daunting prospect. That’s why we wanted to create this website. To help eliminate the over consumption of what to do and where to look. A place with real life, realistic, and helpful tips, tricks, recipes and hacks, all in one place, for people to react with and communicate with.
About
Meet the Cook Behind Nibbles
Nibbles and Nourish is created by home cook, Casey-May, a parent who’s tested every recipe on real kids, focusing on simple, balanced meals, clear weaning guidance, and realistic tips busy families can actually use.
“After being diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS in 2020, I went on a mission to help balance my hormones through food, and that is where my love for cooking started. As I bring up my baby in a world of convenience over nutrition, its very important to me that even on those days that I am exhausted there are options for my baby to enjoy and help him to thrive, whilst also being able to take care of myself and eat foods that I enjoy.
As well as doing nutrient research for myself, I also have an Early Childhoods Degree Bsc, in which I focused on parents views on childrens nutrition. Alongside this I have been working with 1-5 year olds for the past eight years and have learnt all them sneaky tips on how to hide the veg, get them to eat when they swear they’re not hungry and learn when to leave their “favourite foods” in the past.
Being based in Bristol, United Kingdom, we are in a food hot spot, full of culture and fusion and I want to bring them flavours to my childrens table in a simple and effective way that they are going to enjoy. Come and join me on this jounrney as we discover what foods they love, hate, play with and throw on the floor. Because lets be real, most of it ends up on the floor, so why should we spend hours cooking” – Casey-May x
